Nutrition explains how your body uses food for many purposes: to provide energy, to keep you from getting sick and to help you grow. Viewers explore key topics such as food groups and healthy food handling, and learn how to read labels effectively to make the best food choices.

Viewers learn the rules to follow when dealing with other people in the neighborhood, at home, and on the Internet. Upbeat and sensitive, the program provides students with practical tips to avoid danger and examples of scenarios in which safety rules must be followed. The importance of communicating with a trusted adult is reinforced.
