Collection Development Program

The Collection Development Program provides multiple copies of titles which classroom teachers use occasionally during the school year. The Collection Development Program is available to participating districts and the books are housed and distributed through the GV Educational Partnership Media Library.

Many audio book and video titles to correlate with these books are also available to borrow. This program was started at the request of classroom teachers, and teachers are encouraged to suggest titles to add to the collection. Program Guidelines:

  • Books will be stored and shipped in the canvas bags provided.
  • The GV Educational Partnership Media Library will be responsible for reserving and circulating the titles.
  • The borrowing librarians should count the number of books each time a set is returned and make every effort to retrieve any books which have not been returned.

Schools included in this Collection Development CoSer: Alexander, Attica, Avon, Batavia, Byron-Bergen, Elba, Geneseo, Mt. Morris, Oakfield-Alabama, Pembroke, Warsaw, Wyoming. If you are interested in joining this program, please contact Chris Harris, Melisa Swain, or Liesl Toates.
