Viewers will learn about the rich cultural heritage of Mexico. Looks at the influences of indigenous people and Spanish rule in clothing, folktales, foods and holidays. Includes a sample day in the life of a fisherman's son and a young girl in Mexico City. Also looks at Tejano bands, artwork of Diego Rivera, and Talavera pottery.

Students explore the biodiversity that exists in these frozen expanses, while a fun, hands-on experiment demonstrates why so many tundra plants are dark in color.

Students will discover how the species of the rainforest have adapted to the temperature and humidity, and why the threat of its destruction will have a far-reaching impact on our planet.
