Description

Understanding computing and programming is a valuable skill to develop at a young age. According to the National Curriculum for computing, a “high-quality computing education equips pupils to use computational thinking and creativity to understand and change the world. The core of computing is computer science, in which pupils are taught the principles of information and computation, how digital systems work and how to put this knowledge to use through programming. Building on this knowledge and understanding, pupils are equipped to use information technology to create programs, systems and a range of content.” WeDo 2.0 is highly accessible from a basic level and allows pupils to question, explore and investigate ideas, bringing their LEGO® models to life and generating excitement and engagement to discover more.

Your primary and elementary school students can gain a deeper insight into science and computing when you use Lego® WeDo 2.0 to create engaging, high impact lessons. These hands-on tools encourage pupils to get involved in science exploration by asking questions, analyzing data and communicating their findings, while the curriculum pack covers real science practices, including gathering evidence, carrying out investigations and designing prototypes. You will also be delivering computing curriculum objectives.
