Elementary School

Horrible Harry has always loved insects, and he's recently discovered a new favorite: earwigs! When he tries to share his passion for the creepy critters, though, no one but Song Lee will listen to him.

Ramona is happy to have a new bedroom all to herself - during the day, at least. It's not as easy to be brave when there might be ghostly, boneless gorillas oozing under the door at night. Then there is the big, mean dog that steals Ramona's shoe on her way to school. Any other first grader might be frightened.

Henry Huggins is saving up for the bicycle of his dreams, but his plans to earn money don't work out quite as planned. From selling bubble gum on the playground to helping out with his friend Scooter's paper route, everything Henry tries seems to lead to trouble. Luckily, Henry's neighborhood friend, Beezus Quimby, is ready to step in and lend a hand.

Second grade is never dull with Harry in the classroom. He loves to do horrible things, like showing his pet snake to Song Lee and making her scream, or pinning Sidney to the ground and making him say, "I love girls". You never know what Harry will do next!
