Each of these three books describes the clothes of a set of fashionable people who were especially interested in what they wore. They combine historical accuracy with the fictional journals of the characters, thus giving insights into the social life and behavior of the different periods. Each book includes four pull-up scenes to cut out and make and which show some costumes in three dimensions. Each book also includes a carefully researched glossary of useful terms.

This 174-page illustrated paperback titled Creating with Shakespeare is filled with creative activities which senior high teachers can use to introduce students to Shakespeare's language, themes, plays, and sonnets. (Junior high teachers would also find it helpful.) The activities are set up to encourage self-exploration and creative involvement in finding personal meaning from Shakespeare's work in today's world.
