Based on information literacy standards, this series helps students learn to navigate our complex, information-rich world through the development of critical research skills and the ability to access, evaluate and use information.

Using both the free Web and the invisible Web, students will learn how to focus, strategize, refine and evaluate their research throughout the search process.

Looks at the story of the great epidemic plague that struck Europe in the mid-14th century and killed over 25 million. Discusses the causes and symptoms, spread of the plague, why it was so devastating to the population, the role of religion, the results of depopulation on agriculture, the economy, and the feudal system.
