Chocolate’s Dream is the tale of a little dog who is looking for a home. This is a story to help make children and adults aware of the need to respect our pets, and to be responsible and care for the animals who give us all of their unconditional love and loyalty.

Bugs in the garden? Or are they alien invaders? A curious child compares small garden creatures to what he knows of space invaders. Antennas? Shiny armor and helmets? Are these Earth dwellers or something ‘out of this world’? Creepy crawlers abound in wacky, far–out colored pencil illustrations.

Mr. Groundhog tries to give his Groundhog Day duties away. He does not want to be blamed for six more weeks of winter anymore. He asks his friends to take on the responsibilities, but they are not interested. Instead, one by one his friends show him how he is perfectly suited to the role. As the day progresses, Mr. Groundhog finds a way to enjoy his special day. Watercolors, and at times acrylic paints, are built up in layers followed with colored pencils, which add texture to the painting.
