The Black Rose is an expansion for the The Mississippi Queen game. It adds several new river sections with three new terrain features: sand bars, floating logs, and coal refueling stations. The first two are new hazards which slow paddle-boats down which enter (or are pushed into) those hexes.
Strain is a game of competitive bioengineering. 3 to 7 players race to create microorganisms by placing Organelles and Cytoplasm around their Organism tiles. Players battle each other by deploying Toxin attacks and placing Virus tiles on opponents.
