Freddy is a bunny who loves to play his Game Bunny and watch TV. He has no interest in reading or books, so his teacher sends the Book Fairy to pay Freddy and his family a visit. The Book Fairy encourages Freddy’s mom and dad to take him to the library and read to him for twenty minutes a day. At first Freddy is resistant, until he is captured by the story of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, at the library book hour. Soon, Freddy and his family can’t get enough of reading. As Freddy’s parents begin to read to him, he begins to also read to them. Students and parents alike will relate to the journey that the whole family takes to discover the joys and benefits of reading together.
