Preparing Kids to Stay Safe at Home and in the Community

This live-action program for children offers important safety tips and techniques for use inside and outside the home. Divided into short segments that may be used independently, the program covers staying home alone, answering the door and telephone, identifying fire safety rules, understanding Internet safety, learning gun awareness, recognizing dog emergencies, simple first aid measures including the Heimlich Maneuver. (Please note that this program was produced before the new CPR guidelines came out in January 2006)
