In Places & Regions, students will understand the physical and human characteristics that combine to form the areas we create to interpret our planet's complexity. From the Mediterranean Sea Region to the Aral Sea or from the Sun Belt to the Rust Belt, students will explore the ever-evolving natural and cultural features that influence our perceptions of various regions, and reflect on modern issues related to some of the world's most interesting locations.
