Description

The inspiring stories told in Bold Visions: Women in Science & Technology give us a glimpse into the lives of a research scientist searching for genetic causes of diseases, an astronaut who applies her engineering expertise in space, and a technologist who is as agile leading a team of colleagues as she is playing soccer with her sons. Their work is exciting and collaborative, and it improves the quality of our lives. This message is particularly important as America tries to keep its innovative edge by harvesting homegrown talent.

In addition, Bold Visions features high school girls from an engineering program in Texas who, together with other students, have built a wind turbine to generate electricity for lights at a community center.

Hosted by Emmy Award-winning executive producer Helene Lerner, this donated video is a great for teaching people that women have joined the workforce.
